The deadline for BLACKPINK to kick off their world tour is almost here (pun totally intended 😉).
On June 26, 2025, YG Entertainment dropped the official trailer for BLACKPINK’s highly anticipated world tour, DEADLINE. The tour is scheduled to kick off on July 5, 2026, in Goyang, South Korea.
The 27 seconds long trailer starts with Rosé in a phone booth. She is in the middle of a desert, making a mysterious call. The western inspired trailer then cuts to a scene where the four members are cruising in a pink convertible. Each member gets their solo moment — starting with Rosé, followed by Lisa, Jennie, and Jisoo — all glammed up. As they regroup in the car, the trailer shows flashes of the girls driving through the desert, hanging out, and seemingly looking for help. It finally ends with the phone booth dangling, leaving fans intrigued (and slightly confused?).
🫤 Speaking of which, a lot of fans were confused. I even saw someone on Threads mistakenly post it as a “music video.” To be fair, the trailer doesn’t give us much info on the new music that’s supposed to be part of the tour — something YG previously teased.
Also… was it just me, or did Lisa barely appear in this? 🤔 Obviously, Rosé clearly dominated the trailer. Jennie and Jisoo did get a few decent solo shots, but Lisa? More like a blink-and-you-miss-it moment. (Busy schedule, perhaps?)
Anyways, Blackpink will kick off their DEADLINE world tour starting with South Korea. Then they will be traveling through North America, Europe, Southeast Asia and finally, in East Asia. It will be approximately 2 years since all members of Blackpink took a break to focus on their solo ventures. No wonder fans are buzzing with excitement for this long-awaited world tour! 🤩
