The global ambassadors of Korea flocked to Paris 🇫🇷—fashion’s capital—to attend two major shows with big statements to make.
To follow up on my July 1st post, I once againbreak down looks this week of Korean celebs front‑rowed Celine’s Spring 2026 Ready-to-Wear debut and Balenciaga’s Fall 2025 Couture show, and you know I had thoughts.
It was a symbolic week for both houses:
- July 6 marked the Celine debut of new artistic director Michael Rider
- July 9 brought the end of an era for Balenciaga, as Demna took his final bow as creative director
I ain’t no creative director myself… but I do have a little creative input for how our Korean stars showed up on the scene 😂
The Good 😀
V (BTS) at Celine

V, as Celine’s global ambassador, fully understood the assignment. 😇
His cropped button-up grey jacket, detailed with clean geometric lines, added just the right amount of color and structure. Paired with slacks and black dress shoes, the look felt fresh, polished, and perfectly in tune with a spring runway show.
It’s not my favorite V look of all time, but as far as fitting the “clean spring elegance” vibe, he nailed it. And that’s why he made the Good list.
Juyeon (The Boyz) at Balenciaga
Embed from Getty ImagesAt first glance, his all-black ensemble might seem basic—but that’s exactly what Balenciaga’s been doing under Demna: moody minimalism. And Juyeon, as the global ambassador of Balenciaga, made it work.
The oversized striped leather jacket and shiny boots (I think?) gave his outfit a cool, effortless edge. It could’ve been boring, but the textures and fit kept it interesting. Result? A look that oozes cool guy energy. 😎
The Okay 😐
Suzy at Celine

I really struggled with whether to place Suzy at ‘The Good’ list or ‘The Okay’ list. In the end, I made the difficult decision to place her in ‘The Okay’ list. (Not that anyone really cares, lol! 😂)
Suzy, the global ambassador of Celine, looked gorgeous—so gorgeous I had to remind myself I’m straight! 😂 Her all-black look was cohesive from head to toe: cropped jacket, mini skirt, tall boots, and matching bag. All perfectly styled.
So why isn’t she in The Good? Because, fashion-wise, it was just… safe. Pretty, yes. But special? Not really. I could see an everyday passerby girl wearing this to a nice dinner, not necessarily front row at a fashion debut. Gorgeous girl, solid look—but not a fashion standout.
Also, now that I think of it, I don’t think this is a Spring nor a Summer look. So that’s why she unfortunately is in The Okay category this week. Better luck next time! 😉
The Bad 🫣
Park Bo-Gum at Celine

Oh why, oh why, Park Bo-gum… with that pretty face of yours… 😩 This one hurt. He’s handsome, tall, and has great proportions—but this look didn’t bring any of that to life. (By the way, this was the only full body shot that I could find, so mind you that it’s not the prettiest photo.)
The oversized gray blazer looked more “borrowed from dad” than “editorial.” The jeans felt too casual, and the light brown loafers clashed with the rest of the outfit. And don’t even get me started on the shaggy hair—it just made the whole thing feel drab.
This wasn’t a look that elevated his visuals or made a fashion statement. For a Celine show? It fell flat and definitely not a head-turning look. 😑
Roh Yoon-seo at Balenciaga

The lace off-shoulder dress paired with black boots didn’t do her any favors—it made her look shorter and a little stiff. Individually, the pieces might work, but together they didn’t vibe.
I wanted something bolder or edgier, especially for Balenciaga. That said, her hair, skin, and makeup were flawless, so we’ll count that as a mini win. 😅
That’s my round-up from Paris this week. Who nailed the look and who needs a stylist switch-up? 👀 Let me know what you think below!
