On Tuesday, July 15, Billboard updated its charts for the week of July 19 (aka the third week of July), and let’s just say… I’m very happy with what I’m seeing. 🤗
Once again, K-pop is invading the charts—in the best way possible!

📈 Billboard Hot 100:

The main title song of the K-Pop Demon Hunters soundtrack, “Golden” by Huntrix, skyrocketed from No. 23 to No. 6 in just one week! 😝 What. A. Feat.
Another banger, “Your Idol” by Saja Boys, jumped from No. 31 to No. 16.

Other KDH soundtracks in the Hot 100:

  • No. 29: ‘How It’s Done ‘– HUNTRIX (⬆️ From No.42)
  • No. 35: ‘Soda Pop’ – Saja Boys (⬆️ From No.49)
  • No. 41: ‘Free– Rumi & Jinu (EJAE & Andrew Choi) (⬆️ From No. 58)
  • No. 43: ‘What It Sounds Like’ – HUNTRIX (⬆️ From No. 55)
  • No. 51: ‘Takedown’ – HUNTRIX (⬆️ From No.64)
  • No. 86: ‘Takedown‘ – Jeongyeon, Jihyo, Chaeyoung of Twice (🔥 New Entry)

That’s 8 out of 12 soundtrack songs comfortably on the Hot 100—and all climbing.

Of course, it wasn’t a great week for everyone.
Rosé took a small hit: ‘APT ‘ (with Bruno Mars) slipped from No. 27 to No. 30 and ‘On My Mind’ (with Alex Warren) dropped to No. 76 from No. 60. KATSEYE also dipped, now down to one song: ‘Gabriela‘ on No. 95.

🎧 Billboard 200:

K-Pop Demon Hunters” is killing it here too—No. 2 on the Billboard 200! 🤯 KATSEYE is holding strong at No. 15. Respect!

🌍 Billboard Global 200:

Last but not least… “K-Pop Demon Hunters” has claimed the throne 👑 on the No.1 spot with ‘Golden’ 🥳. But ‘Golden’ is not reigning alone with:

  • No. 3: ‘Your Idol’ – Saja Boys
  • No. 5: ‘APT’– Rosé & Bruno Mars
  • No. 6: ‘Soda Pop’ – Saja Boys

It continues to invade the charts with:

  • No. 11: ‘How It’s Done ‘– HUNTRIX
  • No. 16: ‘Free– Rumi & Jinu (EJAE & Andrew Choi)
  • No. 18: ‘What It Sounds Like’ – HUNTRIX
  • No. 22: ‘Takedown’ – HUNTRIX

Other K-pop artists also lit up the Global 200 charts:

  • No. 24: ‘Dirty Work ‘– Aespa
  • No. 16: ‘Killin’ It Girl‘– J-Hope & GloRilla (Read My Review!)
  • No. 18: ‘What It Sounds Like’ – HUNTRIX
  • No. 39: ‘Gabriela’ – Katseye (Read My Review!)
  • No. 52: ‘Like Jennie’ – Jennie
  • No. 68: ‘Takedown‘ – Jeongyeon, Jihyo, Chaeyoung of Twice (Oooh, flip the numbers and it’s No. 86- Hot 100 spot! 😂)
  • No. 72: ‘Gnarly’ – Katseye
  • No. 76: ‘Don’t Say You Love Me’ – Jin
  • No. 78: ‘Famous’ Allday Project (Read My Review!)
  • No. 93: ‘Strategy’ – Twice Featuring Megan Thee Stallion

And the list goes on… but I’ll stop at 100 😅

Honestly, this is a proud week to be a Korean girl. K-pop is evolving—and clearly, it’s taking its slice of the global pie. 😎

So, what do you think will happen next week?
Will K-Pop Demon Hunters finally claim No. 1 on the Billboard 200?
Will more soundtrack songs enter the Hot 100?
Or, will Golden inch even closer to topping the Hot 100?
